Food plots are being prepared. I have been playing around with several different varieties of clover, along with brassica and forage oats. One of the clover varieties that seemed to really stand out over the past season was Dixie Crimson clover. It has a very sweet fragrance when mowed and the wildlife really go for it.
Looking forward to start planting plots this year. I have been anxiously awaiting a new John Deere tractor and tiller to get me started. I have purchased many new seeds this year to try, including soybeans and sugar beets.
